This week begins the alphabet stage of school. Each week we will incorporate a letter along with lessons. This week is letter Aa. We begin with dry erase boards on Mondays to teach the formation correctly for each letter. We then will move on to play-doh mats, finger painting, rice trays, etc.
During Group Time we discussed touch. We discussed that we mostly use our hands for touch, but that we can FEEL where ever there is skin on our body. We read Clap Your Hands and acted out the book since it allowed us to "touch."

We then had ALL ABOUT ME. Ms. Annie showed us her bag of items that best described her. First a Campus School shirt because she loves her work place, Disney luggage tag because she loves to go to Disney, a picture of her family (at Disney) because she loves her family, and her bag for teaching Sunday School. She decorated the outside of her bag with Mr. Walt Disney, her name in Disney font, ....basically Disney threw up and her bag was created...hahaha
I also completed an All About me bag. Inside mine was a picture of the beach because i loooove the beach. A picture of my nephew that I live entirely too far away from, but love so much. A bottle of nail polish, because I do enjoy a mani/pedi !!! Lastly...Diet Mountain Dew... my drink of choice and yes I do have a problem!
We all began our about me books. We began with a self portrait and how we write names in August.
