3rd Day of School

Today we read Chrysanthemum. In the story, Chrysanthemum was excited about school until she got there... She found out that her name was 13 letters long and that she was named after a flower. Even though the other students kept picking on her for this, in the end she was proud of her name and loved her teacher and fell back in love with her name. We all partnered up and told our friends something nice about each other. We also came up with  Nice Words to add to our poster picture of Ms. Chrysanthemum.
