We Made it Rain

On Thursday, we studied about rain. I explained that spring brings lots and lots of rain. We reviewed the water cycle and the vocabulary words evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. We reviewed information of stratus clouds and then we made our own rain. We filled a baggie up with about half a cup of soil. We spritzed the soil to make it moist, sealed the baggies, and taped them to a window. We are predicting that rain will made in our baggies and we have been observing the process. We have a few baggies with some condensation/"rain" running down inside. We think its cool.
