This and That

Practicing cutting! We cut out hands to make our "Helping Hands." Mommies & Daddies, you should find these in their cubbies with the chore that they want to help out with around the house!

Letter B

So he forgot he was making B and began doing an A. But he stopped & did his correct letter ;)

The UWA Nursing students came by and taught us about germs. They put different color glitter in our hands to represent germs. Then we all had to shake hands & saw how our glitter/germs mix. The nursing students gave us germX to use, but we saw that germX does not always get rid of everything on our hands! So off we went to the bathrooms to wash our hands with SOAP AND WATER. I am so glad that our school's policy is already soap & water!

This is the song that we should sing twice while washing hands to ensure we have gotten all the germs.

UWA Center of the Study of the Blackbelt taught us a lesson on wildlife. September 4 was Wildlife Day! We saw real animal fur & played Bingo with animal pictures and tracks. Then we transitioned into the science room where we found a sheet with rabbit tracks and fox tracks! We had to follow the tracks which led into a bush! But it was a complete mystery of what could have happened to the bunny, since his tracks disappeared. We decided that there was a hole that the rabbit was able to burrow in!!!! :)

Then we got to see...what use to be...a real gray fox!
