Hey there! I'm Mrs. Vaughan. I've had this blog for many years and I hope it brings you the joy that it has to past families. Reminder: IMPORTANT DATES!!!!

Friday, November 16 - Wheeeewww!!! We are give out...Pajama Friday!!! We have decided that we should come to school in our p.j.s before the break!!! We will do Thanksgiving activities, too. :)
 
 
 
Monday, November 19-23rd-The Campus School will be closed for Thanksgiving Holidays. We will open Monday, November 26 at 7:30a.m.
Monday, November 26th- Tree lighting ceremony at SUB at 6:00p.m.- kids wear P.J.’s and sing Christmas songs.
Tuesday, December 4thParents’ Night…more info to come.
Tuesday, December 11th- Class parties for our children. Instead of doing class gifts this year, we are doing gifts for the classroom. Each child will bring something to donate to the class.  Each teacher will send home a list of wanted items in the classroom.  The items need to be something fun for the kids, not office-type items.  The gifts will be wrapped and then opened as a class the day of the Christmas party.
Items of interest:
·        child-friendly, age-appropriate games such as chutes and ladders and alphabet bingo
·        any computer software or gaming items such as Leap Frog or Leapster games
·        seasonal items that would be easy to count such as bags of insects or snowmen
·        books, books on CD, CD players (individual), tape players (individual)
·        mini dry erase boards, Etch a Sketch pads
·        Uno cards, game cards
·        anything child friendly that will go with our classroom theme that the students would enjoy playing with J
 
Please bring the party items you signed up for on the list and please remember that there are 18 students in the K4 classes combined J:

Wednesday, December 12th- Nursing home performance.  We will sing and see if we can also do dance.  Ms. Annie is going to talk to Carol Merrill about it. Ms. Kim checked with the nursing home to see what we can do to help them at Christmas.  Ms. Annie will send a list out before the Thanksgiving break so parents will have a choice of what items to send
