Laundromat Field Trip

Another reason we are one of the best schools and I have one of the best jobs! We are studying about clothes and took a walking field trip to Gilbert Hall to see the laundromat for the dorms. Mr. Terry Stepp gave us a tour of the new laundromat and showed all of us the new advances in washing clothes there!

Mr. John Key introducing us to Mr. Stepp

Mr. Stepp showing how you swipe your tiger card to begin.

Now you must select the washer # you would like. It automatically pulls the correct money from your card and you may begin! $1.00 to wash & 25 cents to dry.

UWA students can also check through UWA's homepage to see if there are washers and dryers available before the head to the laundry room AND can check if their clothes are finished washing and drying.
Here are our friends checking out all the washers and dryers.

After our laundromat tour, we went to the dining hall for some nachos! Courtesy of  UWA International Studies. We can't wait!!

The nachos are here and we are about to enjoy!
