Honor Celebration

We had an ice cream/cupcake party for all the kids who made A&B's all year. The kids were so excited. I hope they continue their academic success for life!

We're still at it...

The end of the year is near...but we are still working hard. Third grade is just around the corner for these babies. We believe we are ready. Just to make sure, we have kept working in stations. We played games with our vocabulary words for the week, as well as, some open & closed syllable practice on the smart board. Of course we have some sheet work to do, also. Summer time hurry up!

AR Celebration

To celebrate students reaching their grade's AR point goal, they were allowed to go to the local high school to watch a movie on the big screen, then to the park to play, and finally a pizza party under the pavilion. We had tons of fun. Congrats to those who reached the goal!

Schoolfest

WES held it's annual Schoolfest this Friday. We had so much fun. There were 4 bouncy houses, face painting, tattoos, bubble station, hoops, dance floor, sidewalk chalk station, and hayrides. There were also snacks and drinks available for the kids and the gym had ice cream for sale. We had a blast! Even the teachers partook in the festivities. All the second grade teachers took a hayride together and a few even went down a bouncy slide.
